Notice: Membership in the Battery Business Association (BBA)

Green Battery Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Kotaro Okada) is pleased to announce that we have joined the Battery Business Association (BBA), a general incorporated association, as a general member.

The BBA is an industry association established to ensure safety, promote appropriate regulatory design, and realize a sound market environment in the rapidly expanding grid-connected battery storage market. Through resolving technical and institutional challenges and advocating for relevant policies, the association promotes the social implementation of battery storage systems toward the realization of a decarbonized society.

Green Battery operates an integrated grid-connected battery storage business, handling everything from securing sites for battery storage facilities and submitting applications to power utility companies, through to development, ultimately selling completed grid-connected battery storage facilities. Through our membership in this association, we aim to deepen collaboration with other industry members, stay abreast of the latest regulatory developments, and share safety standards, thereby working toward the development and supply of highly reliable battery storage facilities.
